How fast is your internet connection? have you ever tried to look, Give it a shot, see where you go with it. Mine i found out does 10mbs which im very happy for. You should check yours, it could be slower then your paying for! When i first started testing my Cable connection I would tinker with the settings that you have on the computer, and test it again. Through trial and error i made my internet connection 25% faster then what it was before.
According to broadbandinfo the best way to tweak your broadband settings is through the registry in windows. There are many programs out there that you can use to be able to do just that.

Well thats very helpful but I get different results when i try BT broadband speed test. I'm showed 10 on broadbandinfo but only 8 at BT - and thats maximum anyway
